Association of State Dam Safety
Officials (ASDSO) Annual
Conference in Phoenix, Az.
The entire staff of Beacon Resources was in attendance at the ASDSO annual conference providing demonstrations of the Dam Safety Program Management Tools (DSPMT), showing how to review and provide updates on the National Inventory of Dams (NID) State Regulated Dam field, and providing presentations on the status of the DSPMT in 2004 and the results of the dam safety program performance measures data collection effort for the Corps of Engineers in Spring 2004.

Regional Conference in Norfolk,
Va.
The entire staff of Beacon Resources was in attendance at the ASDSO South East regional conference providing demonstrations of the Dam Safety Program Management Tools (DSPMT) software, showing State representatives the data that they had contributed to the 2002 NDSRB State Evaluation Criteria report data collection effort in Spring, 2003, and showing the FERC Pocket-PC based Dam Safety inspection checklists. Beacon Resources personnel also had the opportunity to present a paper on "Customization of a National Inventory Management Tool" during one of the concurrent technical sessions.
