Beacon Resources is a small company located in Madison, Alabama specializing in primarily civil engineering and some military applications. We have been in existence for six years and are composed of a small group of engineers and programmers with extensive experience in working with the Federal Government on River Engineering, Weapon Systems Development, Trajectory Analysis, Survey Engineering, and Training Range Design. Beacon provides commercial civil engineering and site
development graphic applications, customized software development
services, and value-added customization of CADD to meet the specialized
requirements and workflows of our primarily Government Customers. We specialize in real-time graphic applications for
field use, graphic applications for analysis and design, Database
application development, Palm Application Development, and MicroStation
CADD Customized Applications. In working with River Engineering Personnel, both in the District and in Field operations, Beacon Resources has gained an understanding of the complexities involved in developing software which has to not only do the job right the first time, but also has to be extremely flexible under a tremendous variety of circumstances, and which has to be user-friendly for a range of experience and levels of expertise. Beacon Resources understands that Water resource engineers and field operations personnel are not programmers and need applications which are developed with their special requirements kept in mind during the development process. What Beacon Resources offers is a software development firm which has spent 11 years in USACE Districts and on the River with Engineers, Boat operators, Deck Foremen, slab slingers, dredge diggers, and CAD operators, and has acquired the experience and expertise necessary to develop software which is not only technically accurate but is truly usable and useful to the people who are needing the answers that the software is designed to provide. |
