Geodetics

 

Beacon Resources' Geodetics program incorporates all of the following distinguishing features:

  1. NO Commercial database or GIS software dependencies or licensing requirements.
  2. Integral U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's Corpscon Source code calculations.
  3. Flexible Import options for both Excel and ASCII text files.
  4. Export capabilities to Text Files, Excel spreadsheets, or Google Earth.
  5. Versatile Import/Export workflows (i.e. Import ASCII Text in one coordinate system/Output it as an Excel spreadsheet in another coordinate system; or Import Excel/Export ASCII Text of selected fields).

This program uses calculations that feature the following projections, datums, and units:

Horizontal Projections:

bulletState Plane Coordinate System (SPC)

Horizontal Datums:

bulletNorth American Datum 1983 (NAD 83/WGS 84)
bulletNorth American Datum 1927 (NAD 27)

Vertical Datums:

bulletNorth American Vertical Datum (NAVD 88)

Units (both Horizontal and Vertical):

Entire Data Sets can be exported to Excel or ASCII text files, or selected individual points can be exported to Google Earth:
