Beacon Resources' Kitchen Timer program provides an easy-to-use capability for timing processes such as cooking meals.  This program functions as an all-purpose timer for use in the Kitchen or Office for providing a real-time readout of time until some event but is particularly helpful for cooking frozen dinners.  LARGE easy-to-read digits show time remaining.  Two intervals are provided, an initial time interval for the preliminary cooking time and a final time interval for finishing the cooking process.  After the initial time interval has elapsed, a large easy-to-read form is displayed, along with an audio announcement, showing the instructions provided in the "Process to be Performed" text line.  After confirming that the mid-period process has been completed, the second and final time interval begins.  At the completion of the second time interval, another completion form is displayed and a second audio announcement is played.
