Revetment Design

| Memphis District Revetment Design (CEMVM)
The Memphis version of Revetment design has the following special
features:
 | Cross-sections are shown looking downstream, so left-bank
cross-sections have the inshore part of the cross-section on the left
of the plot and the outshore part on the right side. Right-bank
cross-sections have the inshore part on the right of the plot and go
riverward to the left. |
 | In determining the minimum grade line and the inshore limit,
everything below LWRP-15 feet is ignored when calculating where the
minimum grade line breaks out of the existing bankline. |
 | In computing overbank paving tons, Memphis uses a factor of 4.65
tons/square |
 | In computing subaqueous paving tons, Memphis uses a factor of 8
tons/square |
 | There is no elevation limit on upper bank paving |
 | Memphis uses it's own border sheets for final cross-sections. |

| Vicksburg District Revetment Design (CEMVK)
The Vicksburg version of Revetment design has the following special
features:
 | Cross-sections are shown looking upstream, so left-bank
cross-sections have the inshore part of the cross-section on the right
of the plot and the outshore part on the left side. Right-bank
cross-sections have the inshore part on the left of the plot and go
riverward to the right. |
 | In determining the minimum grade line and the inshore limit,
everything below the LWRP is ignored when calculating where the
minimum grade line breaks out of the existing bankline. |
 | In computing overbank paving tons, Vicksburg uses a factor of 4.6
tons/square |
 | In computing subaqueous paving tons, Vicksburg uses a factor of 7
tons/square |
 | There is an elevation limit of LWRP+35 feet on upper bank paving
above Vicksburg, and LWRP+40 feet below Vicksburg |
 | Vicksburg uses it's own border sheets for final cross-sections. |
