The
Government-standard Survey Engineering Monumentation Management System (SEMMS)
provides powerful software tools for importing, managing, querying, and
exporting survey monumentation data using user-friendly alphanumeric
interfaces. SEMMS is available at no cost to Government Agencies or
private AE Contractors. Additionally, a special version of SEMMS is
available for AE Contractors, at no cost, for generating electronic
submittals which can easily be imported into SEMMS.
SEMMS utilizes the
Government-standard Corpscon source code for it’s geodetic conversions.
This ensures absolute consistency between SEMMS conversion results and
those obtained through Corpscon. This flexibility in geodetic calculations
allows SEMMS to import monuments in one coordinate system, search for
monumentation in a different coordinate system, and then print or export
monument coordinates in yet another coordinate system.
SEMMS is currently utilized in a
small number of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Districts including Memphis,
Kansas City, Little Rock, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Mobile, and the Alaska
District.
Please visit the SEMMS web site, www.semms.org
to download installation files, the latest version of the SEMMS
executable, documentation files, or review descriptions of the SEMMS set
of programs and get help on SEMMS configurations.
The
SEMMS software is available from the SEMMS web site, www.semms.org,
or from Beacon
Resources at no cost. Additional
